Pirawan Wongnithisathaporn is a Karen Indigenous woman from Chiangmai, Thailand, currently, she is working with Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact as the environment program officer. She has worked for many years in supporting the advocacy work around the rights of indigenous peoples, and Indigenous Women’s rights at the national and international level. She focuses her work on community development and traditional knowledge and engages in different international arenas including biodiversity and climate-related policy spaces.
