Program team @ Indigenous Peoples Partnership (IPP)

Khanu Pang Tain belongs to the Naga ethnic group in Myanmar. He recently joined the Program team at Indigenous Peoples Partnership (IPP). IPP was established to support the indigenous peoples’ movement for asserting the right to self-determination in Myanmar. The organization aims to make “a change for better lives” through empowering indigenous peoples. Mr. Khanu coordinates with the youth groups in Myanmar’s Naga regions, including organizing, awareness-raising and providing training sessions on Indigenous people’s rights. Additionally, he is doing independent research on land rights and advocating for marginalized voices in the policy-making process.
