Hero Aprila is an Indigenous Youth from Bengkulu, Sumatra, Indonesia. He is currently serving as Chairperson of the Indigenous Youth Front of the Archipelago (BPAN) for the 2024-2026 period. In addition, he is also a member of Perhimpunan Pembela Masyarakat Adat Nusantara or the Association of Indigenous Peoples Defenders of the Archipelago (PPMAN). PPMAN is a wing organization of AMAN, and the members are lawyers and legal experts. Hero has devoted himself to the Indigenous Peoples Movement since 2017. Until now, Hero provides assistance to Indigenous Peoples communities spread across Sumatra to Papua Regions and Islands in Indonesia.
